Description

We are a successful, diverse and well-established events and media production company located in the beautiful surroundings of Abney Park, Cheadle.

We specialise in the production of global events - live and virtual - and creating exciting and innovative digital media within the healthcare industry.


As a result of an increase in workloads, we are looking for a Project Assistant to support to a busy team with the day-to-day aspects of event organisation and delivery.


Requirements:


Key Responsibilities
You will be supporting the team in the management of virtual and live events, media projects, and exhibitions including:

  • Booking freelancers and internal/external resources
  • Handling client communications and producing status reports
  • Producing onsite schedules / RAMS (risk assessment and method statements)
  • Raising invoices, purchase orders and reconciling expenses
  • Supporting the Project Managers whilst they are onsite
  • Administrative tasks identified by the Project Manager, e.g. booking flights, accommodation etc.

Key Skills, Knowledge and Experience
Experience of working in a similar project support role is essential

  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel
  • Knowledge of general company systems and procedures financial, procurement, HR etc.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Proactive and able to work under own initiative and direction
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills
  • Ability to cope under pressure and to tight timelines
