Gleeson Recruitment Group are pleased to be partnered exclusively with an international group, with leading positions in infrastructure products and galvanizing services, who are seeking a Group Finance Analyst to join their team in Birmingham.
This rolewill report into the Group Head of Reporting, Planning and Analysis and will benefit from high profile exposure to senior management at Group and operational business level.
This role is ideal for a first time mover looking to take a step into a varied rolewhich will give them exposure to a range of commercial and technical accounting.

The Role
- Providing support to the Group Head of Reporting, Planning and Analysis and two Finance Business Partners in analysis, interpretation and presentation of financial and nonfinancial data.
- Working with the two Finance Business Partners to provide financial support to the two Group Presidents in areas such as capital project assessments and review and analysis of actual performance vs forecast/budget
- Assisting in the production and delivery of the Group's monthly management accounts and annual Budget and Strategic Plan.
- Championing the Group's new reporting and consolidation system. A key part of the role on joining the Group will be assisting in the implementation of the new reporting and consolidation system including providing ongoing support to the Group's operatingcompanies.
- Performing scenario modelling for both short and long term planning purposes.
- Delivering insight regarding the financial performance to the Executive and PLC Board.
- Adhoc financial analysis as requested by the Board.
The Requirements
- Qualified chartered accountant. Likely to have big 4 or similar experience.
- 12 years post qualification experience.
- A desire to turn financial and nonfinancial data into meaningful, valueadd insight to aid in decision making.
- A passion for challenging and streamlining inefficient processes, with experience of using automation desirable.
- Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to partner with various internal and external stakeholders, including senior executive members of the Group.
