So therefore, we have an extremely rare & exciting opportunity for Health & Safety Auditor to raise H&S awareness within our MOD division, implementing changes to the way we do things, and make Antac an even better place to work.


This fantastic role comes with some travel as we work on various MOD sites across the South of England, but you will have great variety in your day to day tasks and will have the power to make positive & vital changes to our ever expanding business.

You will share the H&S responsibility from major projects to minor works and you will be given a great deal of autonomy within your schedule.


Responsibilities

  • Plan and complete daily H&S inspections
  • Identify potential workplace hazards and improve existing conditions
  • Raise Health & Safety awareness across the business
  • Provide constructive Health & Safety information, advice, guidance and training to our staff where necessary
  • Provide monthly H&S reports
  • Keep up to date with all relevant legislation
  • Promote innovative ways of working, with continuous improvement in mind

Essential

  • NEBOSH certification as a minimum
  • Up to date knowledge of current Health & Safety legislation
  • The ability to coach members of staff, portraying the benefits of changing the way they work
  • Good written & verbal communication skills
  • A background in construction, military, or working in the public sector is desirable
