Winchester Companion Care, which opened in 2007, is seeking a new colleague to join their existing team.

We are looking for a Receptionist/ Administrator to join our busy and well-established team. We have a very spacious practice with state of the art equipment and high medical and surgical caseloads.

We provide excellent standards of inpatient care and we need great people to join our team to support us in achieving our vision.


It is an extremely varied role, duties will include booking appointments, dealing with all enquiries, taking payments, filing, general administration and interacting with clients.


Weekly working hours will be Monday: 9:00 am - 5:00 pm, Tuesday: 10:30 am - 7:00 pm, Thursday: 9:00 am - 7:00 pm and Friday: 9:00 am - 7:00 pm.

There will be occasional weekend cover as required.


About you:

  • Friendly, professional and enjoys working in a collaborative team environment
  • Selfmotivated, punctual, and organised with a keen eye for detail
  • Able to provide excellent client service and be able to demonstrate their commitment to delivering high standards of accuracy in all aspects of their role
  • Experience within the veterinary profession is highly desirable or experience in a similar client facing role
  • Excellent communication and written skills: spelling, punctuation, and grammar
  • IT literate, able to use Microsoft packages quickly and accurately
