An exciting opportunity has arisen for a full-time Band 4 Associate Practitioner to work within Brent Crisis Resolution and Home Treatment Team.

Based in the London Borough of Brent, this is a fantastic opportunity to work in a challenging and diverse role.

You will be joining an experienced and friendly multi-disciplinary team in a supportive working environment and be committed to providing a high quality service to our population.

To be considered for this post you will need to have a positive, hopeful and can do attitude. You will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and an ability to work under pressure. You will have knowledge and experience of caring for people with mental illness and be passionate about mental well-being.

The post holder will be expected to work as a member of the multidisciplinary Team with a focus on supporting patients in mental health crisis towards their recovery journey.

The successful applicant will have contact with patients or service users.

The post holder will contribute to the growth and maintenance of key functions of the clinical area by carrying out assigned tasks, involving direct and indirect care to service users, under mínimal supervision and as directed by the Senior Practitioners/Team Leaders.

Following personal development planning and targeted training, the competent practitioner will be in a position to work more autonomously in supporting service users.

As a result you will have developed a broad underpinning knowledge at intermediate level, and have the ability to evaluate information and communicate effectively with a range of professionals.


To support members of the Brent Crisis Resolution and Home Treatment Team in ensuring a high standard of nursing and social care.

To provide direct physical and psychological care to a designated group of service users through participation in the care planning, provision and evaluation of service user needs under the supervision of trained staff.

To assist in the provision of a community mental health care service to the residents of Brent.
