    Description

    Job Title: SHE Manager

    We are seeking a highly experienced and qualified SHE Manager to join our team at our Head Office in Southampton. The successful candidate will work across multiple sectors, including Process & Water and Energy, and will be responsible for managing a team of SHE Advisors and Environmental Advisors.

    The ideal candidate will have current or previous experience as an SHE Manager within a civil engineering or M&E environment, with a strong background in health, safety, and environmental management.

    Key Responsibilities:

    1. Manage and mentor a team of Health, Safety & Environmental Engineers across all sectors, ensuring the implementation of effective health, safety, and environmental standards.
    2. Develop and maintain health, safety, and environmental standards, ensuring they are achieved on-site and aligned with industry best practices.
    3. Foster a culture of continuous improvement, identifying potential hazards and introducing control measures to ensure a safe working environment for all employees.
    4. Liaise with client representatives to establish good working relationships and ensure effective SHEQ management of sites.
    5. Undertake and review high-severity accident and incident investigations, implementing preventative measures to mitigate against recurrence.
    6. Develop and monitor key performance indicators across the business, promoting a culture of excellence and accountability.

    Qualifications and Skills:

    • NEBOSH National Diploma or equivalent
    • IEMA Level 3 Environmental Management
    • CSCS card
    • Detailed knowledge of ISO9001:2015
    • Recognised accident and incident investigation qualification

    Preferred Qualifications and Skills:

    • Working knowledge of ISO14001
    • Working knowledge of ISO45001
