We have a fantastic opportunity for a Trainee Mechanical Access Installer to join our team in Manchester to carry out hoist and mastclimbing installations, dismantles, variation works, periodic inspections and tests under the guidance of the lead engineer/supervisor._

What you will be doing:


  • Assist with the installations and dismantles of hoists and mastclimbers, working within the method statement to ensure that works are carried out to the highest standard and safely.
  • Proactively promote a health and safety culture.
  • Follow all reasonable instructions as directed by the Engineer or Supervisor.
  • Ensure that all daily worksheets are completed and submitted to the Office Manager promptly and within the required timescale.
  • Ensure that all Company supplied equipment is used correctly and maintained with any loss or damage to equipment being reported immediately.
  • Ensure that all PPE is fit for purpose and ensure that any PPE that is not fit for purpose is reported immediately to the Office Manager.


Full training will be provided as well as qualifications which include Hoist Installer and Mastclimbing Installer NVQ Level 2, manual handling, harness training and working at height.
