:40 hours per week. Working any 5 out of 7 days on a rota basis

£25,000 per year + a bonus scheme that provides an on target earnings of £28,000

We have partnered with a market leading automotive retailer, who are looking for an experienced Service Technician to join their team in Cardiff.

If you like to treat all vehicles as if they are your own to ensure the highest calibre work, this may be the role for you


What does the job involve?

  • To perform diagnostic testing to identify faults.
  • Maintaining a safe and productive work environment.
  • Effectively communicate to customers.
  • Understanding of different warranty schemes and how these affect customers.
  • Ensure all relevant paperwork is completed accurately and on time.
  • Ensure PDI's are completed and notify the customer of any advisory.
  • Follow assignments through to completion, meets deadlines and deliver on promises.

Experience Needed?

  • You must have a full valid UK driver's licence.
  • Experienced as a Vehicle Technician desirable.
  • Relevant City and Guilds qualification desirable.
  • Own a stocked toolbox and basic servicing items with being able to use these for work purposes.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Experienced in communicating effectively with customers, in a clear and concise manner.
  • A working knowledge and experience in complying with Health and Safety at Work Act 1974.
