Job description

The School of Built Environment, Engineering and Computing of Leeds Beckett University wishes to appoint Degree Apprenticeship Assessors in Civil Engineering, Building Services Engineering and Quantity Surveying.

The appointees will support the development and delivery of our apprenticeship courses for people wishing to pursue apprenticeship degrees in these named apprenticeship courses.

We would like to appoint one person immediately with a further two appointments ideally starting in the summer.

The appointees working with a team of academic lecturers, the university apprenticeship teams and in collaboration with industry and employers and their apprentices, will support the development and subsequent delivery of apprenticeship courses through virtual and physical industry visits of our apprentices and their employers.

The successful applicants will play an active role with our team to develop and lead apprentices through their apprenticeship journey, helping them develop the knowledge, skills and behaviours to succeed.

You will liaise with apprentices, employers and internal key contacts to develop our apprentice-focused service, conducting regular reviews with apprentices and their employers to measure progress and agree the way forward.
