Job description

  • The School of Pharmacy at Queen's University Belfast, is currently seeking to recruit a talented _Research Fellow._
  • We seek a passionate and dedicated research fellow to join our team and tackle the essential medicine global supply shortages (funded by Medical Research Council).
  • You are expected to be an active member of the research project/team, assisting in the planning and delivering the research activities around analytical method development and in vitro/in vivo pharmacokinetics of liposomal antifungal nanomedicines.
  • Within the research network, you will also be involved in activities on animal disease validations and regulation compliance by leading experts from the University of Liverpool, London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine and DNDi.**
  • Have or be about to obtain* a relevant PhD in the areas of nanomedicine, liposomal formulations and PK/PD.
- (*must be obtained within 3 months of commencement of employment).
  • Relevant liposome research experience of pharmacokinetics and biodistribution of nanomedicines following systemic administration.
  • Must hold a Personal animal license.
  • Experience of development analytical methods for biological samples, e.g. LC-MS.
