**DEPOSITARY MANAGER

Canary Wharf, London £60 - 70K**We are delighted to be partnering with a publicly listed Fund Management business with offices in Canary Wharf in their recruitment of a Depositary Manager to join their burgeoning UK team.

The role will focus on our clients' diverse range of private equity,real estate and debt fund clients, including investment trusts listed on the London Stock Exchange as well as UK and non-EU limited partnership and fund structures.


The role:


The Depositary Manager is responsible for ensuring that the business fulfils its responsibilities under the depositary requirement of the Alternative Investment Fund Management Directive (AIFMD).

Reporting to the Depositary Director, the Depositary Manageris responsible for several client funds and carrying out reviews of those funds in a timely manner in accordance with internal procedures.

The role will also entail the support, training, and management of the analyst team who are based in their Hampshireoffices - as such weekly / fortnightly travel to the Hampshire team will be required as part of the role.


Main Responsibilities:


  • Review fund valuations and accounts, in line with department defined timelines and procedures, to ensure they have been completed accurately and in accordance with the fund documentation;
  • Review asset registers and ensure procedures are undertaken to verify the fund's ownership of said assets;
  • Review daily cash flow monitoring of fund bank accounts;
  • Ensure funds are compliant with fund documentation and any issues are identified, logged, reported and resolved in a timely manner;
  • Review drawdowns and distributions and ensure the expected procedures have been followed;
  • Coordinate with fund administrators and managers to ensure that the depositary duties can be undertaken and all necessary information is received in a timely manner;
  • Review periodic client and fund board reports;
  • Present reports to board at board meetings;
  • Attend onsite visits to fund administrators and investment managers;
