Customer Services Advisor


Our clients are currently recruiting a Customer Services Advisor who will be responsible for providing assistance and support to customers once their Agreements are live, focusing on ensuring the most efficient service and best possible outcome for the customer.


The Customer Services Advisor will report to the Operations Manager, the role requires a high level of accuracy, excellent attention to detail and a proven experience in providing exceptional customer service.

The Customer Services Advisor will need to be professional, empathic and have very good written and verbal communication skills


Accountabilities and Responsibilities include:

  • Setting customer Agreements live and transferring the data from the proposals system into the contract management system
  • Complaints handling
  • Monitoring and reviewing novation requests
  • Reviewing and authorising refunds where necessary
  • Ownership of administrative tasks during the life of customer Agreements including opening and closing of Agreements; rolling Agreements into secondary rental periods; issuing title invoices; and ensuring all customer account details are correct and up todate
  • Generating and issuing various letters, settlement quotes and statement of accounts to customers
  • Referring arrears cases to the Head of Collections where necessary
  • Identifying customers with vulnerabilities and reporting this to the Department Heads
  • Issuing replacement documents to customers
  • Following and adhering to company policies and regulatory guidelines

Skills and Experience:

  • Outstanding customer service skills
  • Experience in a customer servicebased role advantageous
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to effectively prioritise workload
  • Strong communication and organisation skills
  • Ability to work on own initiative
  • Experience of using MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word)
