3R Consulting are recruiting a Financial Accountant in Chester for a hybrid position


Full time, permanent position you will produce periodic management information for the Group and the Groups subsidiaries year end financial accounts in accordance with relevant financial standards.

Be responsible for all company tax returns and tax forecastingand operate and enhance appropriate systems and financial controls for the business ensuring best practice in preparation for the company accounts and compliance with all regulatory requirements.


Preparation of periodic management accounts, periodic investor board pack, lead the audit and production of statutory accounts, prepare the tax returns, corporation tax, VAT and other indirect returns.

Accounting for asset disposal, balance sheet and cashflow, fixed asset register and depreciation. Other statutory reporting and supporting the team with improving financial processes and participating and contributing to projects.

Qualified in ACA or ACCA and educated to degree level with a minimum of 3 years PQE.

Able to demonstrate experience of the complexities involved in auditing & reporting financial results of the Group and subsidiary undertakings and the valuation of fixedassets.

Accuracy, attention to detail, strong organisational skills and able to meet deadlines. Strong written and verbal skills and confidently able to explain financial information.


IT skills:
MS Excel, ERP Systems, MS Dynamics 365 Business or Navision alongwith accountancy/tax packages such as Caseware and Alphatax.
