Description
An Assistant Financial Controller is required for expanding business in Poole. The role would suit a Finance Manager in a smaller business looking for a wider role to move into.

My client is interested in either a Finalist, Newly Qualified or 2-3 Years postqualified and ideally from a corporate background with demonstrable staff management experience as you will manage a team of 6.

You
MUST have multi country and multi-currency experience and ideally have worked within an IT/software or technical sector.


Key duties and tasks:


  • Staff management of finance team, including 121's, annual reviews, and performance plans
  • Identify and carry out training of finance team in line with objectives
  • To provide cover in absence of Financial Controller
  • Assisting and resolving complex transactional issues
  • Review and approve global payrolls
  • Weekly ledger reviews with team owner
  • Monthly BS reviews with accounts team
  • Ownership of month end close process
  • Review and submission of management account pack to Group Financial Controller
  • Continuous process and policy improvements
  • Engaging in company IT project implementations
  • Business partner with other departments on linked processes
