More about your role
As a Contracts Manager within Places for People you will manage a number of both direct labour and sub contract teams.
Your role will be operationally focused on delivering our scheduled works programme, working closely with and directly supporting yourteam(s), building relationships through training, coaching, staff development and the organisation of your staff team's rotas.
You will take the lead to actively promote and demonstrate the Group's commitment to effective health and safety, for staff, residentsand contractors.
You will continually identify innovative and safe working practices, as well as following and implementing budgetary controls.Acting as the line manager for an operational workforce of internal and external contractors monitoring and managing work volumesand ensuring the high level service delivery.
You will build effective relationships with both internal staff, customers and contractors through effective communication and engagement.As our Contract Manager you will ensure that all work carried out adhered to our SPIRIT values in line with the strategyand objectives set by the Head of Operations, Group Directors and Board.
This is a hybrid role allowing you to work from home. You will require flexibility and a willingness to travel to cover a wide geographical area.For more information please download our job profile available on our website.
