Team Leader - Haddon Hall Care Home - Buxton.

We are looking for Care Team Leads or individuals who would like to develop a career in Health & Social Care to join the team in our beautiful care home in Buxton.


About us:

Haddon Hall provides 24-hour residential, nursing and dementia care for up to 64 elderly residents in a beautifully decorated, modern care home.

As part of the award winning Porthaven Group, we deliver outstanding care for our residents.

About the role:

To provide line management and leadership to a team of Senior Carers and Carers and to ensure the delivery of high standards of care to Residents in accordance with current evidence based professional practice and within company policies, Care Quality Commission standards and regulations, and current legislation.

To manage the floor or designated area throughout a span of duty.

To co-ordinate and lead the team ensuring that optimum person centred care is delivered to Residents at all times and that Carers and Senior Carers work effectively within the parameters of their own job descriptions.

Work in the role of mentor to new staff or staff with performance issues as required.

To ensure that all medicines are administered in line with the company policy. Any other reasonable instruction from either Clinical Specialist, Nursing Care Manager or Home Manager, which is within your area of competence
