We are looking for a highly motivated specialist practitioner to join our CAMHS Service at Brecon War Memorial Hospital, Brecon.

The successful applicant will be based in a community based service across the communities of South Powys


We are looking for a highly motivated specialist practitioner to join our CAMHS Service at Brecon War Memorial Hospital, Brecon.

The successful applicant will be based in a community based service across the communities of South Powys


Powys CAMHS works within a whole service ethos supporting each other and encouraging individual development and recognition of unique skills.

There are opportunities for training and career development.

The successful applicant will work with children, young people and their families in clinic and home settings and across a range of emotional and mental health difficulties.

As part of the role there will be an expectation of working intensively and flexibility with children to reduce the likelihood of being admitted to hospital as well as when they are discharged.

Powys CAMHS has well established links with partner agencies, neighbouring CAMHS services and educational establishments. Individuals are encouraged to work autonomously with appropriate support and guidance from senior team members.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
