Payroll Onboarding Administrator
My client is a well-established Accountancy firm. Based in several locations they are recruiting for their Newcastle office. Based in a small and busy team you will be working on a portfolio of clients. Our client is looking for an experienced
Payroll Administratorto join them on a permanent basis.


Reporting directly to Payroll Manager you will be responsible for the timely and accurate onboarding of clients and payroll for varied weekly, biweekly & monthly payroll.


Responsibilities and requirements

  • Setup of all client payrolls in line with the competency framework
  • Process higher graded payrolls
  • Excellent customer service
  • Dealing with queries from clients
  • Dealing with queries from the payroll department
  • Understanding of report writing
  • Quotes for payroll services.
  • Supporting the Operations team
  • Liaising with clients on automatic enrolment
  • Setting up of automatic enrolment pension schemes

Desirable skills and attributes:


  • Bureau experience
  • Looking for 2 years' experience minimum
  • Pensions & Auto enrolment
  • A keen eye for detail
  • Strong initiative
  • Enjoy working within a team but autonomy to work alone
  • Excellent Excel
