Overview of Role
Synaptec is recruiting a Sales Coordinator to join our growing team. The Coordinator will be responsible for the smooth running of our sales operations and the maintenance of associated systems.

The main features of the role will include:

  • Using CRM software to maintain sales and customer records and ensuring they are up-to-date and complete
  • Monitoring progress of sales opportunities through critical pipeline stages, ensuring compliance with process for the issuing of proposals, receipt of purchase orders, and project handoffs to operations, are maintained and documented
  • Liaising with contacts at commercial partners as part of a systematic partner program to maintain currency of knowledge, skills, and certification through regular communication updates.
  • Keeping documentation up to date for internal and external partner use, including price lists, installation guides, etc.
  • Providing first response to inbound sales enquiries, and partner support requests, allocating leads to the sales team for follow up, recording and tracking progress on those allocations in CRM.
  • Providing administrative support to the VP Sales.
  • From time to time, participating in some sales and marketing activities, including partner events, conferences, and supply of content and equipment to support them.

Essential criteria

  • Excellent numeracy, literacy, and organisational skills
  • General office software skills (including Word, Powerpoint, Excel, and Outlook)
  • Strong interpersonal and teamworking skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • A natural ability to sensibly organise and order systems, documentation and people
  • Ability to prioritise and manage own and others' (via diaries) time effectively
  • Very high attention to detail and quality of work
  • High integrity and commitment to confidentiality

Differentiating criteria

  • Demonstrable experience in similar office management or administrative positions
  • Experience with accounting or bookkeeping
  • Experience with marketing and sales, including production of text and materials
  • A keenness to learn new skills and abilities
