We are recruiting due to a company expansion a number of Vehicle Fitters for Temp to Perm / Permanent work in the
Fishponds area of Bristol - BS16.

About the company:

Main focus of the business is the construction of commercial vehicle bodies.

This includes a wide range of products including tippers, box vans, drop sides, specialist builds as well as van conversions and accessories.

This is a great opportunity for people who want to work with vehicles and build a career within the automotive sectors.

The Role Will include:

Vehicle Building
Assembly and Fitting
Making corrections and troubleshooting on vehicle designs
Designing & Making New Parts
Main Function will include drilling, cutting, riveting, bolting, screwing.
Using Hand & Power Tools to assemble parts and fixtures
Cleaning working areas.
Full training will be given to the right individual
Work involves manual handling and requires continuous periods of working on feet.
Daily tasks are an integral part of the role and operatives need the ability to work to set timetables.
Workshop environment requires an adherence to health and safety standards including the wearing of PPE.

Skills and Experience:

Background working in a production environment particularly body building
Background working with Vehicles in general and willing to learn.
Being mechanically minded
Ability to work under pressure
Ability to use your own initiative

Hours and pay:

-
2pm-10pm - £11.00:

-
+ 10% allowance = £12.10 after the training probation period

Weekly pay varies on previous experience and skill set the pay rate will be discussed at the interview stage.
You
MUST have previous experience
IN VEHICLES and an interest in vehicles and assembly of vehicles.

£11.00 per hour
