Are you a caring and compassionate person by nature who finds rewards in helping people learn and grow, then you are the person Maplewell Hall School are seeking to join our expanding team of devoted support staff that we have at our friendly, successful and oversubscribed school.


Due to offering additional spaces for students at our Main School and our Post 16 Loughborough location, we are recruiting additional Learning Support Assistants to support our students with their learning across both sites.

You will join and contribute to our growing and extremely amazing support team helping our students to achieve their goals.


Start date
:
As soon as possible

Contract: 32 hours per week, 39 weeks (term time plus 5 teacher training days)


Salary:
Grade 5, point 7. Actual salary in the region of £15,612 (£21,192 full time equivalent per annum).

:9am Friday 3rd February 2023


The successful applicants will need to be confident, organised and self-motivated, and flexible to meet the requirements of our students.

We are looking for someone who is able to:


  • Provide inclass support for students with an EHCP
  • Support students employability pathway at our Post 16 Loughborough
  • A commitment to raising levels of student achievement
  • High standards of Literacy and Maths
  • Ability to work within a team
  • A passion to work with specific children with moderate learning needs including Autism


Maplewell Hall is a highly subscribed SEN school for students with moderate learning difficulties, specialising in Autism, our students are aged between years.

We have 300 students on roll, across the both locations.


Our MAP (Maplewell Autism Provision) supports and provides learning for students with high functioning Autism and is designed for students to reach and achieve their full potential, whilst our Post 16 Site supports to provide all our students with a pathway to employability or further education.

Maplewell Hall School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people. Offers of appointment will be conditional upon an enhanced DBS disclosure, satisfactory references and medical clearance.
