What You'll Do
- Provide advice to managers on HR policies and procedures, employment law and complex HR issues.
- Develop and implement HR strategies that align with company objectives.
- Lead initiatives such as DIB, Benefits, EVP and Learning and Development.
- Monitor, review and update all HR policies and ensuring these are in line with current legislation.
- Manage and advise on disciplinary and grievance matters in accordance with company policies and employment law.
- Collaborate with senior management to understand the organization's goals and strategy related to staffing, recruitment and retention.
- Measure employee satisfaction and identify areas that require improvement.
- Oversee the management of the HR database and ensure that it is updated accurately.
- Uses best practices and knowledge of internal or external business issues to improve products or services.
- Solves complex problems using discretion and judgment; takes a new perspective using existing solutions.
- Owns small or functionally specific projects.
- Work is done independently and reviewed at critical deadlines.
- Acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience.
- Adapts style to differing audiences and often advises others on difficult matters.
What You'll Need to Succeed
We're looking for someone who:
- Can work hybrid from either our Belfast or Brighton offices.
- Minimum of 5 years' experience resolving complex employee relations issues.
- Working knowledge of multiple human resource disciplines, including compensation practices, organizational development, employee and union relations, diversity, performance management, and federal and state respective employment laws.
- Experience with Learning and Development projects.
- Experience with 1 or more HRIS system.
