What You'll Do

• Provide advice to managers on HR policies and procedures, employment law and complex HR issues.
• Develop and implement HR strategies that align with company objectives.
• Lead initiatives such as DIB, Benefits, EVP and Learning and Development.
• Monitor, review and update all HR policies and ensuring these are in line with current legislation.
• Manage and advise on disciplinary and grievance matters in accordance with company policies and employment law.
• Collaborate with senior management to understand the organization's goals and strategy related to staffing, recruitment and retention.
• Measure employee satisfaction and identify areas that require improvement.
• Oversee the management of the HR database and ensure that it is updated accurately.
• Uses best practices and knowledge of internal or external business issues to improve products or services.
• Solves complex problems using discretion and judgment; takes a new perspective using existing solutions.
• Owns small or functionally specific projects.
• Work is done independently and reviewed at critical deadlines.
• Acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience.
• Adapts style to differing audiences and often advises others on difficult matters.

What You'll Need to Succeed

We're looking for someone who:

• Can work hybrid from either our Belfast or Brighton offices.

Your experience should include some or all of the following:

• Minimum of 5 years' experience resolving complex employee relations issues.
• Working knowledge of multiple human resource disciplines, including compensation practices, organizational development, employee and union relations, diversity, performance management, and federal and state respective employment laws.
• Experience with Learning and Development projects.
• Experience with 1 or more HRIS system.
