Skirting 4 U aims to become the UK's primary skirting supplier by making the ordering, production and delivery processes as seamless and hassle free as possible, for a recognizably more convenient, superior customer experience.

Scope of the role:

We have an exciting opportunity for a Logistics Coordinator to join our small team.

To ensure the delivery of our products runs smoothly for our Drivers and the customer.
Being accountable for the effective management of logistics, vehicle management, people, schedules and reporting.
The main point of contact for our Drivers with regards to their rota and shifts.

Key responsibilities

Strategically plan and manage delivery routes and Drivers.
Ensure all databases are continually updated in good time and kept accurate at all times.
Liaising with agencies, courier services, when needed, to ensure the company has enough allocated drivers.
Consider any planned van maintenance when allocating to routes
Delivering high levels of customer service internally and externally.
Communicate delivery information to customers.
Day to day management of all Drivers.
Monitor and escalate issues with Driver conduct, feedback from clients as well as overall conduct/performance and behavior.
First point of contact for drivers if any issues occur.
First point of contact for customers for scheduling requirements
Adherence to Company procedures and statutory laws.

Key Attributes

Excellent written and verbal communication.
Ability to learn on the job and adapt to changes.
Robust knowledge of the geography of the UK, specifically postcode areas.
Excellent time management skills and ability to multitask and prioritise work.
Strong organisational and planning skills.

Working hours are 08:30 - 17:00, Monday to Friday, with a 30 minute paid lunch break.

30 days annual leave inclusive of public holidays.

Salary:
£24,000.00-£27,000.00 per year
