We are really pleased to be supporting a fantastic Sports Services provider with their search for an Operations Management Associate, to help further develop the support they offer across a wide cross section of society.


The company provide sports coaching courses, holiday camps and schools coaching in Tennis, Netball and Multi-sports across Hertfordshire and Bedfordshire.

Formed in 2013, they aim to get as many people involved in sports as possible, showing the positive impact it can have on their lives.

This role will be responsible for managing and developing the sports coaching provision in School Sports Coaching, Toddler Classes, Venue facility management, Birthday Parties, Holiday Camps and Private Coaching.

This is an amazing opportunity for somebody with a passion for sports and fitness, looking for a role with responsibility, outside of an office or standard 9-5.


Main duties include:
- overarching responsibility for the running of the company activities

  • Help with recruitment and scheduling of camp/event staff
  • Organise hirers of sports facilities and schedule staff for monitoring shifts
  • Responsible for children's welfare and wellbeing whilst on camps
  • To work as part of a team to deliver the coaching programme
  • To promote the programme and other Sports services
In order to be successful you need to have:

  • A proven ability to engage with children with energy, enthusiasm and excitement
  • Excellent organisational, verbal communication and listening skills
  • Flexibility and adaptability
  • A car and clean driving licence is essential as you must be able to store and transport the kit required for classes
  • A fun and confident personality
  • Able to work alone and with others
  • Self motivated
  • A passion for sports
No prior qualifications are necessary, but qualifications in sports coaching/teaching is preferable. First aid and safeguarding qualification also desirable, but can be provided if needed.
Please also note that a DBS check and references will need to be completed by successful applicants.

In this role you will be given a lot of freedom to work when it suits you outside of scheduled event times - my client's ethos is to treat staff as adults and as long as the work is completed to a high standard and on time it can be done from home or office.

Other benefits include free fitness classes, on-site parking and a discretionary annual bonus.

The salary on offer is £24,000 to £28,000 p.a. dependent upon experience.
