A fantastic opportunity has arisen working within East Staffordshire Borough Council's Programmes and Transformation Team, which is recruiting to the role of Leisure Services Officer.


Forming part of the Corporate and Commercial department, the Programmes and Transformation Team is a dynamic, multi-skilled team set at the heart of the Council with responsibility for a wide range of corporate activities.


The Leisure Services Officer will support the Corporate and Commercial Manager in delivering strategic sport and leisure in the Borough of East Staffordshire and act as the Council's principal contract manager ensuring the effective delivery of the Leisure Operating Contract.

The Leisure Operating Contract details the requirements for the Council's external leisure partner in the outsourced delivery of three Leisure Centres across the Borough and the Sports Development / Active Communities function.


There will also be opportunities to assist the activities of the wider Programmes & Transformation and Corporate & Commercial Teams, meaning this is an exciting and varied role.
