Multi-Trade Operative

Marybone House, Liverpool - Covering North West

£31,159 - £32,799 per year

40 hours per week - Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 16:30pm

We pay up to £500 welcome bonus when you join Sanctuary and up to £500 per year thereafter retention bonus


We have an opportunity for a Multi-Trade Operative to join our Voids team based in Liverpool consisting of 6 Operatives.

With a mix of skills and qualifications, the role will involve working on repairs for both void and tenanted properties and will cover all aspects of general building repairs and maintenance.

The role is mainly lone working with opportunities to work with the wider team as and when required. With a company van and tools included the role will cover the NW2 area.


The role of Multi-Trade Operative will include:

  • Carrying out construction, fault fixing and maintenance duties in line with contract specifications
  • Ensuring tools and equipment are maintained in good condition and restocking these when needed
  • Responding positively to complaints and breakdowns in service delivery, by resolving problems or set into motion the means of resolution, ensuring customers are kept informed
  • Providing accurate and timely information on the progress of works that is easily understood by the customer

Skills and experiences

  • City & Guilds qualification, NVQ 3 or relevant experience in relevant trade is essential
  • Awareness of health and safety regulations and working legislation
  • Skills in some of the following disciplines
  • Carpentry, Joinery, Plumbing and Kitchen and Bathroom installations
  • Ability to prioritise workloads, work to deadlines and plan ahead
  • This role will involve driving on company business. In order to drive a company vehicle, drivers must hold a full valid UK driving licence
