Description

We are currently looking to recruit a Maintenance Coordinator to work with a medical association in Leeds and support with the upkeep and running of their buildings and offices in Leeds.


Maintenance Coordinator core responsibilities include:

  • Support the Business Services leaders to facilitate a timely and efficient response to Members, colleagues and others helping the department to meet internal and external service level and performance targets, primarily around engineering/maintenance services.
  • Deputise for the Engineering Manager where appropriate to support effective delivery of the departmental SLA's.
  • Provide health, safety and security support (such as Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS), Permits, DSE, CCTV and access controls management, car park management, (maintenance and contracts) ensuring alignment and support that delivers on the definedSLA's and service standards.
  • Carry out PPMs including lighting, heating and security systems basic maintenance as well as completing reactive maintenance tasks as appropriate.
  • Deliver and manage building inspections ensuring inspections are carried out, issues are escalated, and tasks are closed in line with the policy and procedures.
  • Take ownership and be responsible for delivering operational facilities related KPIs, SOPs and other procedures which control site or office activity.
  • Provide maintenance support ensuring routine repairs/ maintenance items are dealt with promptly and effectively and if necessary, arrange for third party to attend the office to ensure service standards are maintained.
  • Deliver effective health, safety and security support ensuring that activities comply with the necessary regulatory and legal standards and are in accordance with any policy standards and risk frameworks set by the organisation.
  • Support the delivery of the Divisional strategy and contribute to the development and delivery of the Business Services strategy to plan, cost and quality.
  • Support the Workplace Experience Team where necessary to facilitate efficient member service which meets the departmental service levels.


Ideal Maintenance Coordinators will have previous experience overseeing and carrying out maintenance services across buildings and offices and preferably hold a Health & Safety qualification such as IOSH.


For this the client look to pay their Maintenance Coordinator a salary up to £26,000 per annum plus generous benefits package including annual bonus up to 10%, Private Medical Insurance, 25 days leave (plus bank holidays) and optional buy or sell of up to5 days leave.
