Who we're looking for
***
We're looking for a Pensions Administrator to join our friendly team based in Liverpool.
***
As a member of the pensions team, you will receive full training for a varied range of administration functions.
***
Key Responsibilities
***
Carry out automated and manual processes and calculations.

Communicate with institutions, scheme members and third parties as applicable regarding routine queries arising from duties.

Meet team specific duties and carry out ad-hoc duties as directed by Team Manager or Assistant Team Manager.

Actively manage own workload to ensure that statutory, departmental and team targets are met.

Your experience
***
Numerical skills

Attention to detail

Good understanding of the team's processes, practices, objectives and targets (including department and statutory deadlines)

Good knowledge of the pension administration system used by the department

Good knowledge of the USS scheme rules, practice and relevant legislation

Comfortable using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, able to adapt to different IT systems

Have excellent communication skills and can explain things clearly to people

Comfortable using numerical data and working to deadlines and targets
