Job Purpose/Summary:
Using the production schedule to plan and carry out kitting activities, ensuring kits are supplied to Production in an efficient and accurate manner.
Main Responsibilities/Key Tasks:
- Organising and maintaining warehouse and inventory stores for efficient material storage and handling, whilst maintaining a labelling system for each stock item.
- Maintaining inventory accuracy in everything you do on the ERP system and in location.
- Stock counting as per the cyclic stock count process and carrying out full investigations where stock is inaccurate, make adjustments.
- Highlight and communicate stock levels which are above the maximum levels stated on the MRP system.
- Kitting for Production in advance to identify shortages. Communicating any discrepancies identified immediately and ensuring the ERP system is updated.
- To support and aid production with identifying and rectifying Work In Progress anomalies.
- Maintenance and replenishment of the shop floor Kanban stations.
- Record key KPI data on a daily basis.
- Additional tasks within the stores/goodsinwards/Supply Chain as Keep the goods inwards and surrounding areas clean and tidy with a view of
- Action any stores requests made from the rest of business in a timely fashion, and communicate any issues immediately.

Education, Training and Qualification
- 3 or more GCSE preferably with Maths & English
- Qualification at an A level standard or above.
- Any warehouse best practice training. (H&S, Tools & Equipment, First Aid etc)
- Logging and Collating of information(Data).
- Good Communications Skills (both written and verbal)
- Understanding CAD or similar product drawings
- 5S Continuous Improvement
- Warehouse/Stores Best Practices.
- Customs and logistics communication.
- 2 years minimum in a similar role
- Experience using an ERP System (Sage,SAP,123i etc)
- Prioritising workload to company requirements
- Communicating to Internal and External stakeholders at all levels
- Working in a workshop/manufacturing environment
- Carry and Movement of some heavier loads
- Good understanding of Office tools such as Excel, or Google Sheets.
- Experience with Customs Clearance.
