Role Profile:

The Job Holder will play an essential role within the PFISTERER CSU UKs internal sales team.


As an internal sales person, the Job Holder will provide sales and administrative support liaising with external sales staff to achieve optimum support for the promotion of sales growth.

The main tasks of this position are listed below:

  • Produce and issue product quotations for customers within the ERP system
  • Promote training courses to customer base. Developing marketing promotion literature and course notes
  • Enter orders into the ERP system confirming all relevant details to the customers as required including delivery and payment terms. Orders entered may be for delivery to either PFISTERER UK or as a Direct Shipment to a customer
  • Update and maintain the CRM system with all office generated information
  • Assist colleagues with Invoicing and Logistics related requirements as and when required
  • Ensure quotations are in line with PFISTERER standards i.e. product in methodical order, drawings to support offer etc. _"supporting the buyer experience culture"_
  • Communicate and liaise with internationally based PFISTERER colleagues around ontime supply of both information and products to the UK sales office and/or direct shipment to customers, ensuring this achieves expectations and PFISTERER promises
  • Follow up HV quotations with Sales Managers (set up task on CRM to external sales)
  • To maintain and manage the tendering tools e.g. Achilles, Linkup, and DNO specific tendering tools etc. and ensure that all documentation is updated on a regular basis
  • Identify sales opportunities on a weekly basis and advise the appropriate sales person
  • Ensure that accounts are allocated to the appropriate sales person whilst prioritising A and B accounts
  • Manage and develop C type accounts in line with agreed targets set by the CSM and utilise the CRM system to illustrate leads etc.
  • Proactively communicate with customers to keep them informed of their order development and also to maximise existing sales/order opportunities as well as seekingout new opportunities and advise external sales of new opportunities
  • Support all PFISTERER UK Management and field based sales personnel; in particular those covering regions and/or sectors assigned to you
  • Support the UK Sales office based colleagues by covering their work as/when required, especially during holidays and/or sickness and absence
  • Contribute towards the development of PFISTERER sales as well as in the delivery of bestinmarket customer service
  • Compile and manage the technical log for all technical enquires, i.e. MV & HV
  • Compile and manage a MV/HV training register (certificate of competence) ensuring this is kept up to date and communicate with customer in respect to recertification whilst ensuring the customer receives a 12 week notice prior to becoming invalid
  • Ensure full compliance with PFISTERER policies & procedures; comply with relevant Health & Safety and employment legislation at all times

Desired Key Skills and experience

  • Competent user of Dynamics ERP/Navison/SAP CRM systems
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel and Powerpoint
  • Previous Telephone Sales experience
  • Excellent time management and prioritisation skills
  • Strong work ethic
  • Team player
  • Display a pleasant manner when dealing with customers and colleagues, always seeking to deliver bestinmarket customer service
