Training and Development co-ordinator - immediate start - permanent

_ Recra are working in partnership_ with a leading snack food manufacturer, they are currently looking for a training and development trainer to join their vibrant team.


Role Purpose:


  • Through a culture of continuous training and development, Identify and define process training and development gaps within the manufacturing processes to deliver sustainable improvements that result in quality products being manufactured safely at the lowest cost.
  • This role is responsible for the execution of training material that is fit for purpose in order to improve the overall manufacturing knowledge that enhances and improves, production efficiencies, quality, cost, personal safety, food safety, compliance, and service level improvements.
  • To deliver through the shift teams a culture of education and learning that allows internal succession planning and staff progression.

Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities:


  • Support the site induction process to ensure seamless representation.
  • Support and delivery of the business transformation journey in relation to personnel progression.
  • Development of the site's Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Responsible for delivering process knowledge that results in sustainable measurable improvements across areas of H&S, Food Safety and Quality, cost reduction, and manufacturing efficiencies.
  • Working with the site process and shift teams to design and deliver a GAP analysis and individual progression plans to meet the business and personnel expectations.
  • Management of Learning and Development KPIs to drive and measure improvements.
  • Work alongside the agency provider to manage training compliance for the site.
  • Compile and present periodic data and reports to the Senior team.

Knowledge & Experience:


  • Strong coaching skills and demonstrable ability to influence individuals and teams.
  • Experience working in a training/development role.
  • Structured approach and able to get the best out of people.
  • Strong organisational and interpersonal skills including excellent communication skills (both oral and written).
  • Selfdriven and resultsoriented. Has a positive outlook and a clear focus on highquality standards.
  • Experience in implementing processes and procedures.
  • Tough and assertive in a positive way, with an ability to make decisions based on their own sound judgment.
  • Meticulous attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently, to take the initiative, and propose constructive solutions rather than simply identify problems.
  • Able to form good relationships.
  • Approachable by all levels.

Desirable:


  • IOSH Managing Safely.
  • Snack food experience.
  • BRC & AIB knowledge.

Qualifications:


  • GCSEs or equivalent, including English and Math.
  • Level 2 Food Hygiene Training.
  • HACCP awareness.

Hours:
Mon-Fri 40-hour week.
