Property Adjuster/Claims Consultant - Suffolk/Essex - up to £35k per annum plus £4,800 car allowance, annual discretionary bonus, fully funded and support towards Industry qualifications, pension and additional incentives


Due to Company Growth and expansion an established Claims Management Organisation providing a first class Claims Management service to the Insurance Industry throughout the UK, are now seeking an experienced Property Adjuster/Claims Consultant to join theirHigh Value Adjusting Team.

This is a full-time role working Monday to Friday 37.5 hours per week covering the Suffolk and Essex regions.


Key responsibilities:


  • Manage your own portfolio of Domestic and Commercial losses in excess of £50k with no cap
  • Property losses will include Landlords and Tenants, Shops, Factories and Hospitality Buildings
  • Attend site visits throughout the Suffolk and Essex regions to assess liability
  • Manage your own diary liaising with the Policyholders and Suppliers
  • Work closely with the Building Surveyors and relevant appointment experts to drive settlement under your control
  • Produce reports within agreed timeframes

About you:


  • Insurance Claims Handling experience working within a field based capacity carrying out site visits
  • Domestic Property Claims Handling / Adjusting experience, Commercial Property claims experience advantageous
  • Experience of handling losses in excess of £50k
  • A good understanding of Insurance/indemnity policies and legal structure
  • Excellent client relationship skills both verbal and face to face
  • The ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines
  • Industry qualifications or working towards
  • A full clean driving licence
You will be working from home and field based. Hours are 37.5 per week, Monday to Friday.
