We are hiring for an AV Application Specialist to join one of our higher education clients on a 12-month fixed term contract.

It will be a hybrid role with 2 days on site in Southampton.


About the Role We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced and dynamic AV Application Specialist to work closely with the AV Support Team Manager and Project Manager as we move towards a hybrid working environment. Based as part of the Audio Visual team, you'lldefine and deliver support and training that will improve the development, delivery and sustainability of communications and collaboration platforms and hardware in line with our strategy.


Specifically we are seeking someone with experience in Microsoft Teams and hybrid working software and associated AV hardware who can shape the future needs and use of platforms and provide training and support to the IT teams and end users.


What you'll do:


  • Provide expert advice on the use of the communication and collaboration platforms and hardware.
  • Plan and assist in the development of training content for the platforms and hardware.
  • Actively engage with staff discovering their communications and collaboration requirements.
  • Work with suppliers and integrators to maximise features and benefits of platforms and hardware, keeping up to date with recent development and sharing this across the teams

What you'll bring:


  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to plan and manage your own workload.
  • A proactive mindset towards dealing with complex challenges and conflict.
  • Ability to assimilate information quickly to suggest and deliver improvements.
  • Previous experience in training end users.
