The Operations Administration & Events Assistant will perform tasks for the Office Manager and will be responsible assisting with the administration of our ever-growing client portfolio and overseeing staffing at stadium events.
This will consist of general clerical, administrative duties and a variety of tasks leading up to and including the operations of our client base events list.
The Operations Administration & Events Assistant will be expected to learn a thorough knowledge of the events industry specifically the plans, processes and policies of the individual client's needs.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities - Admin:
- Assist in recruitment, human resources, volunteer administrative coordination.
- Assist with all Operations internal and external correspondence.
- Attend internal and external meeting arrangements and schedules.
- Assist with the procurement and contract development and administration.
- Update Operations files.
- Assist with setup of and orientation of new Operations staff.
- Assist with document editing and preparation.
- Assist with special projects as assigned.
- Support administrative and projects needs of onsite Operations Team as assigned.
- Review and verify periodic budget/expense reports.
- Handle other administrative duties as assigned.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities - Events:
- Administer time and attendance systems in line with individual client requirements at event venues.
- Assist with staffing rotas for various sites.
- Aid in the staffing and running of events such as sporting venues, music arenas etc on an adhoc basis.
- Implementing procedures and requests from Senior Management.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Demonstrated excellent organizational, coordinating, and personal interface skills.
- Demonstrated excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Familiarity and comfort with customary office machines (i.e. fax, copier, printers, etc.)
- Minimum 23 years recruitment/administrative experience.
- Proven job diligence and dedication and attention to detail.
- Ability and willingness to travel and work overtime, weekends and evenings as required.
- Comfort and experience interfacing with various organizational levels of staff and management.
- Experience working in multicultural settings plus have the ability to work in high stress situations in a constantly changing environment.
- Qualifications in Business Management and Administration Desired
- Previous experience in a similar role/ industry Desired
Salary:
£24,000.00-£26,000.00 per year
