Financial Accountant opportunity for a Newly Qualified Accountant, London, Hybrid

Responsibilities include:

  • Managing monthend process;
  • Supporting Finance Business partners in exciting projects such as pricing strategies;
  • Working closely with the Financial Controller and CFO by providing analysis and making recommendations;
  • Ownership of tangible and intangible assets;
  • Being a key contact for the statutory audit;
  • Recommending changes to processes and controls;
  • Managing an Accounts Assistant who will provide support across these areas;
  • Will be a selfstarter with financial analysis, reconciliation and management accounts experience;
  • Be inquisitive and have a desire to improves processes and procedures;
  • Be happy to work in a fastpaced environment;

Requirements:


  • Professional accountancy qualification ACCA/ACA/CIMA or equivalent;
  • Excellent communication skills with an understanding of tailoring your communication between senior stakeholders and individuals of different levels and backgrounds;
  • Good time management skills and ability to prioritise workload to meet deadlines;
  • Selfstarter who is proactive and can work as a team or autonomously.
