Support Worker - Mental Health Hospital

Must be PMVA Trained (Prevention and Management of Violence and Aggression)

Position:
Support Worker - Mental Health

Hours: 12 hour shifts / Full time & part time shifts available

Salary / Pay Rate:
£11.00 per hour to £14.00 per hour dependent on shift. *Not inclusive of holiday pay*
Contract: Temporary

About the role:
Provide assistance and support to individuals with physical or intellectual disabilities - Assist with daily living activities, including personal care, meal preparation, and medication administration - Help individuals participate in social and recreational activities - Support individuals in developing and maintaining independent living skills - Document and report any changes in behaviour or health status to the appropriate supervisor - Collaborate with a team of healthcare professionals to ensure the well-being of individuals

Do you have experience with ?

Administering Medication
Providing Emotional support for an individual
Work with other healthcare professional to ensure that all support needs meet the highest possible standards.

Qualifications:
PMVA trained, Bild Accredited

Skills:

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Compassionate and patient demeanour
Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Strong problemsolving and decisionmaking abilities
Knowledge of relevant safety protocols and procedures
Flexibility and adaptability to meet the changing needs of individuals.
