Due to the growth of our scheme, we are recruiting for a Family & Volunteer Co-ordinator (23 hrs pw)

Home-Start is the UK's leading family support charity.

We are a voluntary organisation committed to promoting the welfare of families with at least one child under five years of age.


Family & Volunteer Co-ordinator:


You will be responsible for:

- recruiting, training, supervising, and supporting our team of volunteers
- processing family referrals and assessing the family's needs
- providing the right match of volunteer to family and supervising the ongoing support
- integrating support with other agencies where needed


You will need:


  • NVQ level 3 or relevant professional experience
- sound knowledge of working with parents and their young children
- proven experience of providing supervision
- experience of parenting
- use of a car to enable visiting families


We will offer you:

- flexible hybrid working over 3 or 4 days (home/office/community)
- salary £17,245 (£27,742 FTE)
- paid mileage
- contributory pension scheme

Salary:
£17,245.00 per year

Expected hours: 23 per week
