Working closely with the Commercial & Finance you will undertake commercial operation of their capability and work on how they develop this.

You will feed into how the markets develop, as they actively participate in influencing these.

My client is an exciting, well-known brand throughout the UK. They specialise within a niche but vastly important sector.

Description

Commercial Operation of our Balancing Services capability within that market place;
Work as part of the virtual team across the organisation (control room, technical teams, operations) and develop your understanding of their capabilities and business processes;
Work on developments to the processes and systems and support to the relevant people, operating closely with the Commercial Manager;
Review market information and performance data, drawing out insights and relevant operational advice;
Input to papers and recommendations for submission to the Executive Leadership Team and Board;
Support resolution of commercial and operational issues including on second line support on occasion out of hours, as part of a team.

Profile

Graduate Calibre, with demonstrably high understanding in the economic and commercial field.
Proven experience as a business or financial analyst;
Interest in and preferably experience of operating in commercial markets,
Good communication and negotiation skills;
Ability to work independently;
Strong analytical thinking and decisionmaking skills; and
Results focused, with the ability to work under own initiative.
Intermediate or higher excel skills.
