Referrals Team Leader
Sustain is a Birmingham-based Registered Provider with the Regulator for Social Housing and is rated G3 V2.
Sustain work with vulnerable adults, the homeless and those at risk of homelessness, and who have considerable support needs. Currently we supply housing and support to nearly 1,800 people within the city.
As part of our commitment to our tenants, we are looking for a Referrals Team Leader. Reporting to the Senior Management Team, the role will look to improve and re-energise Sustain's referral process. This will involve close liaison with our existing contacts as well as generating and improving the network of organisations and people that refer vulnerable adults to us
Communication & Relationship Skills
You should have good communication skills, as you will be required to liaise with a number of key stakeholders including Referral Sources, Home Providers, Tenants, neighbours, council representatives, and other third parties.
You will be expected to build a good and strong rapport with key staff in a wide variety of Third-Party Organisations in order to build a resilient referrals stream.
You will also have good team working skills as you will be joining our growing operations department responsible for all areas of compliance and service provision standards.
Knowledge, Training & Experience
You should have relevant experience working within this sector
You will need to become familiar with relevant Legal Requirements and Sustain's Policies and Procedures. Training will be provided as required
Analytical Skills:
You should have good analytical skills as you will be required to update management on the outcome of the Referrals Process and highlight where further improvements may be made.
Organisational Skills:
It is essential that you have good time management skills as you will be responsible for managing your own time as well as those of a small team.
Data entry and text processing:
you should be confident in the use of IT, specifically Microsoft office and other software systems.
Additional Requirements:
A full clean driving license
