A unique career opportunity has arisen for a Pay & Pensions Administrator to join our busy Payroll team at HUC.

This role focuses on processing all aspects of Pay & Pension administration for our growing workforce of employees and GP's across our regions.


You will need to have a basic understanding of the workings of Payroll processing and Statutory deductions, the NHS and NEST Pension Schemes and Rotamaster, ideally with prior experience working within a healthcare or NHS setting.

Strong knowledge of Excel, including Vlookup's is essential. If this sounds like you, we want to hear from you today

Your responsibilities:


  • Administer the Payroll for approximately 1800 employees
  • Payments to third parties
  • Processing and paying invoices for our GP pool approx. 450 per month
  • Administration of the NHS and Nest Pension schemes
  • Dealing with Employee and GP queries in relation to pay and pensions
  • Maintaining good relationships within Finance, HR and Resourcing teams
  • Keeping up to date with current Payroll legislation
  • Completing annual returns for pay and pensions
