This is a fantastic opportunity for a
Communications and Event Coordinator to join our friendly and welcoming team.

We are a large restaurant group and London is our 30th restaurant to open, located in the heart of one of London's most vibrant food and drink districts, Shoreditch.

You will be part of a small UK team supporting the UK Sales & Marketing Manager.

You will be a motivated and enthusiastic team player, naturally proactive and provide a service that is consistent with our reputation.

This role would suit a creative person with similar experience working within a sales, marketing or events office in either a restaurant, hotel or venue.

Your main responsibilities will include booking and coordinating all groups and events from enquiry through to completion, and supporting and implementing the internal communications strategy.

General duties include:

• Coordinate all groups of 8+ and events from enquiry through to completion
• Send and confirm menu and dietary requirements
• Create weekly function sheets for operations departments (front of house and kitchen)
• Take and manage deposits
• Promote the restaurant's private dining and event spaces at all times
• Build lasting relationships with regular group bookers and look to develop new ones
• Provide input into the development and implementation of the communications strategy
• Assist in writing news stories, recipes, blogs, and monthly newsletters
• Coordinate Sagardi London's internal communications
• Create and send loyalty club materials and letters
• Excellent organitzation skills, multitasking abilities and attention to detail
• Excellent written and verbal communication including a strong command of English
• A friendly, warm and professional manner
• A minimum of 1 years' experience in a similar role (preferred but not essential)
