Health & Safety and CDM Advisor
The post will be based in Port Talbot with some home working by arrangement and UK wide travel.


The core role will be delivering CDM and H&S advisory services to our clients across a range of projects with varying scope and complexities.


Key Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Carrying out the duties of Principal Designer Advisor.
  • Providing CDM advice and support to Clients.
  • Being a key point of contact for our Clients.
  • Providing relevant CDM documentation.
  • Attending design team meetings, workshops, reviewing designs and design strategies
  • Carrying out site health & safety inspections and issuing reports.

Skills and qualifications:


  • Previous experience of acting as a Health & Safety Advisor in a construction environment with a thorough understanding of the Construction (Design &
Management) Regulations 201- An existing Health & Safety qualification such as a NEBOSH Diploma, NEBOSH

Construction or equivalent

  • Ambitious and enthusiastic and able to work independently
  • IT literate with a sound knowledge of Microsoft packages
  • Good organisational skills and the ability to prioritise workload
  • Excellent report writing and communication skills
  • A proactive and balanced approach to H&S management
  • A full UK driving licence is essential together with the use of own vehicle for business travel with paid expenses
