What you will be doing:
Ecorys' Programme Management Unit (PMU) manages a range of grants and funding projects in the UK, across Europe, and internationally.
Assistant Grants Officers play an important role in providing day to day administrative support to grants and funding projects.
Assistant Grants Officer are key in ensuring an excellent customer journey experience for potential applicants and grant recipients, and in providing a high-level of customer service.
You may work alongside external partners/ specialists and associates.Individual responsibilities will vary from person to person, but as an Assistant Grants Officer you can expect to:
- Support the preparation and running of workshops, briefings, webinars and other advice and guidance for potential applicants and grant recipients.
- Attending conferences and events to network and represent Ecorys and/or contracts/clients.
- Any other appropriate tasks relating to the role.
What we will need from you:
Essential
- Good communication skills, including the ability to effectively communicate with customers and other stakeholders.
- Good written, numerical and IT skills, including working with databases and Excel.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and support colleagues to achieve results and to contribute to a positive and effective team working atmosphere.
- Take responsibility to solve problems within your control
- Willingness to travel occasionally throughout the UK and work flexibly outside normal office hours, including occasional nights away from home
- Experience and/or knowledge of grants and funding.
- Experience of working with grant recipients and/or beneficiaries in a relevant field.
