An exciting opportunity to join an established business located in Halstead has arisen.

Brands Direct Ltd is currently looking to recruit an Accounts Assistant. Working within a friendly team this role is best suited for someone looking to undertake an all-rounded position where Sage 200 experience is essential along with a good knowledge of MS office

This is a very varied and busy role which will require an adaptable and flexible team-player with the ability to work under pressure, used to multi-tasking and prioritising workload.

THE CANDIDATE:

• Experience in Sage 50/200
• Proficient in Excel
• Experience in purchase order processing and invoicing
• Confident telephone manner
• Good organisational skills
• Ability to work to deadlines

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Processing purchase invoices onto Sage via POP and Purchase Ledger
• Keeping excel spreadsheets up to date with accurate information
• Producing regular reports on outstanding PO's not invoiced for cashflow management
• Reconcile supplier statements and resolve any anomalies.
• To ensure remittances sent to suppliers to confirm payment breakdowns.
• To ensure trackers are updated.
• Daily allocation of banking, and weekly bank reconciliations
• Suggested payment reports to be raised for Finance Manager
• Support with month end reporting
