A medium size residential care home is looking to employ a reliable and punctual
Night
Care Assistant.

You will play a vital role in maintaining high quality care to all residents as directed by and under the supervision of the duty manager and home manager.


This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are dedicated to providing exceptional care in a compassionate and supportive environment.


Key Responsibilities:


  • To deliver quality personal care following the care plan and individual resident wishes to ensure the dignity, comfort & wellbeing of each resident.
  • Contribute to the individualised personcentred care planning process of each resident and recording appropriate daily interactions and observations.
  • Support residents to maximize their independence and create the environment which supports their physical and mental wellbeing.
  • In consultation with the resident/families offer support to maintain the residents' room, clothing and property in order.
  • Record observations including weight, nutrition, tissue viability and liquid intake/output as identified in their care plan.
  • Engage in supporting and delivering activities for residents.

Qualifications and Skills:


Required:


  • Reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
  • Understanding and sensitivity towards the needs and privacy of older adults
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high care standards
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Customer service experience

Preferred:


  • Previous experience in the care sector is much appreciated but not required as training will be provided
- knowledge of clinical care in the older person


Job Types:
Full-time, Part-time


Salary:
£11.75 per hour


Expected hours:
No less than 21 per week

Education:


  • GCSE or equivalent (preferred)

Experience:


  • Customer service: 1 year (required)
  • Home care: 1 year (preferred)
