    **Transport Team Leader Role at GXO Logistics**

    We are recruiting for a Transport Team Leader to join our team in Crewe, supporting the efficient running of all transport functions and ensuring Health and Safety & Transport compliance is a top priority.

    This is a full-time, permanent role with a 4 on 4 off night shift pattern, working hours of 6pm-6am.

    About the Role

    • Supporting the dedicated transport operation for the GXO TJX network on the open book contract.
    • Manage and coordinate the work activities within your team.
    • To ensure all deliveries and collections meet the required contractual performance standards.
    • To proactively manage the daily activities of GXO Logistics within the TJX contract.
    • To ensure absence and holiday cover is in place for the role and assist in absentee and holiday cover where required.

    What You'll Need to Succeed

    • Strong working knowledge of telematics systems as well as Tachomaster.
    • Previous experience working within a fast-paced transport environment.
    • Transport compliance knowledge & experience.
    • Ideally experience leading a team previously.
    • CPC license - Would be an advantage.
