System Managers

12 Month Contract

Up to a £350

Fully Remote

of system development. and Veeva systems
System Managers sit within System Support function in Global Trial Clinical Services in Operations.

System Managers are responsible for business support of key tools utilised at including (not limited to) CTMS (Clinical Trial Management System), eTMF (electronicTrial Master File).


Main role tasks:
Expert knowledge of relevant tools and advises organization for optimal utilization of these tools:
a. Recommends business rules and system policies / procedures

b. Assists efforts to coordinate and perform administration tasks for relevant tools

c. Perform UAT and system validation activities

d. Contributes to management of quality checks and housekeeping activities on key tools

e. Develops system training and support events as requested

.Works on implementation of

Systems Strategy, in collaboration with Head of Systems Support

  • Analyzes reporting options to facilitate operational plan compliance for study teams
  • Drives troubleshooting on escalated system issues

Overall skills required:
Broad understanding of global clinical operations process and ability to translate these processes into relevant integrated IT solutions

Strategic mindset

Flexibility to rapidly adapt to changing business needs and priorities

Must be able to act independently

Strong written and verbal English communication skills


Specific skills (desired):
Knowledge of CSV validation process

Experience of working with technology vendors

Experience of system development

Experience of training and communication for a global project

Experience of working with global teams

Experience of working with cross functional teams
