Care and Support Workers

Part Time roles available working an average of 20 hours per week

Plymouth and Ivybridge

£12.00 per hour

£75 per sleep in (Sleep in shifts on a regular, ad-hoc or cover basis may be available, but are not a requirement for all roles)

We are seeking motivated, passionate and caring individuals to join our friendly team, to provide support in the Plymouth and Ivybridge area.

This role will include supporting across 3-4 individual services for individuals with learning disabilities and autism. We offer a comprehensive training and induction programme and a great team environment.

You don't necessarily need any previous experience, but you do need a caring and positive attitude and the desire to assist the people we support to live their lives to the full.


You will need to be a driver with a full licence to support with getting out and about in their own vehicles.


The role will include support with daily living tasks, such as cooking, cleaning, activities, personal care, medication and looking after all health needs, as well as positive mentorship, encouragement and motivation to become as independent as possible.


We see our team of Care and Support Workers as "Skill Builders" and aim to build positive working environment that aims for, and celebrates, success.

Your primary role is to support the continued self-growth and development of the person you are supporting, working towards aims and outcomes no matter how big or small.

As a Skills Builder, you will achieve this by having a clear purpose to your role, working with a positive, proactive and can-do approach in order to assist the person you are supporting to live their life to the full.

We encourage our team to bring their own skills and gifts into work to help the people we support try new experiences, broaden their horizons and gain new skills themselves, as part of the process of self-growth.
