Tech Lead role - Communications Industry

C# |.NET | Azure | Angular | | Javascript

Salary:
£65,000-£75,000 depending on experience (+ benefits)

Location:
Nottingham (hybrid - one day per week)

Key responsibilities:

Mentoring a team of software engineers, overseeing the production of high quality code that adheres to benchmarks and quality standards
Work with system and QA engineers to embed practices and automation frameworks that ensure predicted, tested, and automated deployments
Developing a culture of continuous improvement and accountability, striving for the highest standards across all areas including coding practices
Has leadership experience, allowing them to be a strong team leader, able to foster a culture of success, collaboration and improvement
Will be accountable
Has experience of leading sprint meetings aligned to the agile software delivery methodology including but not limited to daily scrums, sprint planning and retrospectives

Desired Experience:

Extensive background in software engineering
Languages including C#,.NET with HTML, CSS, JavaScript and SQL
Code (IaC) using Terraform, Ansible, Azure Resource Manager
Advocate and solid experience in delivery of event driven architecture practices via microservices and containerisation (Docker, Kubernetes, etc)
Solid knowledge and delivery of CI/CD pipeline for deploying microservices to Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS)
Agile practices aligned to Scrum and Lean ways of working
Microsoft Azure (ideally PaaS components)
