Azure Data Manager

Polar Recruitment are currently recruiting on behalf of an international market leader in the Technology sector for an Azure Data Manager with an extensive data engineering background and experience delivering business process and functional designs fordigital and E-Commerce projects.

Working in collaboration with internal teams, HQ and third parties, the Azure Data Manager will review, document and design innovative solutions for business requirements, with particular emphasis on;

Data Modelling & Implementation
ETL / ELT implementations
Azure Synapse Database Administration
Machine Learning / Data Science

Azure Data Manager skills & experience

Extensive experience within data engineering in very large enterprise data environments.
Proven experience designing, documenting, and delivering enterprise data solutions
Strong Azure technical skills including Azure Synapse, Azure Database/Data Warehouse, SSIS/ADF/Databricks, Azure Security and Infrastructure

Data Modelling

Kimball/Azure Analysis Service, and Visualization
Qlik/Tableau/Power BI experience.
ML/Data Science skills.
Knowledge of enterprise ERP systems (SAP desirable)
Experience of software development tools, such as Jira and Confluence
Scripting skills (e.g. T-SQL, DAX, MDX, Python, PowerShell)
Agile
